Plain-English summary No account. We don't collect your email, name, phone, contacts, location, or files. The only identifier that can leave your device is an anonymous Firebase token, and only if you turn on notifications. We don't sell or share any personal data with ad networks.

1. Who we are

The "Apostas de Confiança" Android app is developed and maintained by the operator of apostasdeconfianca.com. This policy covers only the Android application. The website has its own policy at https://apostasdeconfianca.com/privacy.

The app is not a gambling operator. It does not take bets, process payments, or replace professional advice.

2. What data the app handles

In particular:

  • The app does not use Google's Advertising ID.
  • The app does not integrate third-party analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Facebook SDK, no Mixpanel, etc.).
  • The FCM token is per-device, not per-person, and is not linked to any personal identifier.

3. Push notifications (optional)

If you opt into notifications:

  1. Android generates a unique Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for the device.
  2. We send that token to our server at apostasdeconfianca.com and store it.
  3. We use the token to deliver notifications about new articles or bonuses.
  4. You can disable everything under Settings → Notifications inside the app. You can permanently revoke the token by uninstalling the app.

We do not profile your age, sex, or gambling habits based on notifications.

4. Where data is processed

  • Our server runs in data centers in the European Union.
  • Notification delivery uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google Ireland Limited). Google's policy also applies for that service: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
  • We do not transfer data outside the EEA ourselves. Google FCM may route through Google's global infrastructure under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

When the user disables notifications in Settings the token is marked inactive and we immediately stop sending pushes; full row deletion is available on email request (we respond within 30 days). An automated purge of long-inactive tokens is on our roadmap.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about your device
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erase your FCM token from our servers
  • Portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured format
  • Object to processing

For any of these: privacy@apostasdeconfianca.com. We respond within 30 days.

You can also uninstall the app, which deletes all local data immediately. On the server side the corresponding token will fail to deliver via FCM (Google notifies us of the error) and is then marked inactive; to guarantee physical deletion of the row, email privacy@apostasdeconfianca.com and we'll process it as a deletion request.

If you believe we mishandle your data, you may lodge a complaint with CNPD — the Portuguese Data Protection Authority: https://www.cnpd.pt.

7. Children

This app is intended exclusively for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly process children's data. If you become aware that a child has provided data through the app, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or technical changes. The date at the top always reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced inside the app.
